House Development - Hamnavoe, Burra 

This project involved a lot of rock breaking which provided most of the infill material required to form the access road and turning area in front of the new house site. The next phase of the project was to excavate the trench foundations, install the mesh reinforcing and pour the concrete. We serviced the site with hydro electric, water, BT, foul water and surface water systems. This area required a radon barrier which we installed beneath the solem. The solem concrete was then placed. Once the house had been built we returned to tar the access road (including forming a speed hump), driveway and turning areas.
