Sumburgh Lighthouse - Road Reconstruction

This was a project we carried out as a sub-contract to Corramore who was the company responsible for carrying out the refurbishment work on the Sumburgh Lighthouse for the Amenity Trust. We surfaced the carpark and access road up to the lighthouse. It was challenging due to the steep gradients, acute angles and the fact that the works fell in the months of January and February, making the weather conditions atrocious. However, the finished product was very successful.
